A glorious painting day at Our Beautiful Glasshouse ,Chiddingfold

On Saturday 18th April I co hosted a glorious painting workshop at Our Beautiful Glasshouse Chiddingfold with my lovely friend Louisa Henriques. My artist daughter Hannah was our wonderful assistant for the day.

The day unfolded with delicious home made cake and coffee followed by a walk around Louisa's beautiful bluebell and tulip filled gardens.  Then it was back to the glasshouse where I demonstrated various techniques for painting seasonal flowers in watercolour.

The weather was warm and sunny so we enjoyed lunch outside in the walled garden before heading back indoors to start a new painting project, painting blossom on tinted watercolour paper. At the end of the day guests departed with a hand tied posy of flowers, a goodie bag and their own wonderful paintings of course!
